About
Fewer promises. More paperwork.
Pure Pet Peptide started the way most things in this space start: with an animal we loved and a search bar full of questions. The answers we found split into two camps — sites that promised everything and cited nothing, and research papers nobody had translated into plain English.
So we built the thing we wanted to find. A shop that sells peptides for dogs, cats, and horses — and tells you, in the same breath, that none of them are FDA-approved, that the research is mostly preclinical, and that your veterinarian should be in the loop before any decision gets made.
That honesty is not a legal strategy, though our lawyers appreciate it. It is just the only way we could stand behind what we sell. Every batch is produced in a certified US laboratory and verified by an independent third-party lab for identity and purity. Every article on this site names the species of every study it cites, and stops where the evidence stops.
We are a small team, not a clinic. We don't answer medical questions, we don't publish dosing guidance, and we never will — those conversations belong with a licensed veterinarian who has met your animal. What we do is source carefully, test independently, document everything, and explain the research like we'd want it explained to us.
